It’s pretty easy to get stuck in the rut of same-old, same-old, so why don’t you shake it up this month? The MOTR Pub truly has something for everyone, from The Truth Serum comedy game shows to Open Mic nights and an art gallery hop. There’s truly no excuse to be bored when there’s so much entertainment available right here in Cincinnati! All you have to do is pick your favorite type of activity, select a night from our easy-to-use monthly calendar and swing on by for some great food, beverages and fun. Here’s a quick recap of what a month of free shows looks like at MOTR.
Mondays
Mondays are pretty blah, so come get your comedy on with the free comedy game show: The Truth Serum. You’ll laugh until your sides split in this vaudeville comedy show where contestants compete to determine if comedians are telling the truth or feeding you a story. Come get boozy on truth serum, laugh and possibly even win something too!
Tuesdays
Come enjoy all-original content on MOTRs Open Mic Night each Tuesday of the month. Voted Best of the City by City Beat readers for five years running, we are always focused on enriching the ever-expanding music and arts scene. Every second Tuesday of the month, you’ll also enjoy MOTR Mouth stand up comedy from Mark Chalifoux and Andy Gasper at 7 p.m. sharp in the basement.
Wednesdays and Thursdays
Wednesdays and Thursdays are great for kicking back with friends and celebrating that you’re halfway through the work week and on the downhill slide to the weekend. We help keep your spirits up with fabulous budding artists from around the region. Check out a MOTR burger and a cocktail any night of the week — our kitchen is open until 1 a.m. every day except Sunday.
Fridays
Whew — it’s finally Friday! The last Friday of each month is the perfect time to join the MOTR crew for a neighborhood art gallery hop. In the spirit of expanding the awareness of amazing local artists, we let a different local artist take over the MOTR dining room walls for a full month! This eight-year tradition is a favorite for staff and visitors alike.
Saturdays and Sundays
Brunch is one of those magical meals: not so early to be deemed breakfast, and early enough that you can still sneak in a late lunch if you’d like. Our Saturday and Sunday brunch offers a great excuse to sleep in on the weekend and still grab some amazing grub. The last Sunday of each month you can enjoy our Future Science Comedy Show, a sketch comedy where you can explore the scientific data from the past, present and future.
